Born in Spain, Asís has been travelling extensivelly all over the world due his former job related with the sea trading and the merchant navy.
Sailing and painting since his childhood he has begun his exile setting up his new Studio on a hidden corner of the Mediterranean coast, dedicating all his time to his painting work.
Adding their literature influences as Conrad, Stevenson and Baroja, Asis shared a close friendship and knowledge with the great Galician watercolour artist Ramón Lastra. John Groves works are equally a great influence on his present work.
